Introducing Comsol Software

COMSOL Multiphysics software is general-purpose and uses advanced numerical solution methods to model and simulate physics-based problems. By using this software, you will be able to analyze multi-physics phenomena or coupled phenomena with the help of more than 30 modules available in this software.

You will also be able to develop the simulation platform using dedicated tools and interfaces for electrical, mechanical, chemical and fluid flow applications.

The Add-ons of this software provide the possibility of connecting your simulations in the COMSOL Multiphysics environment with other calculation methods. It also provides the possibility of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design software (CAD) and electronic component design software (ECAD) simultaneously (real-time).

Other Software That Can Communicate With Comsol

All three stages of pre-processing, processing and post-processing can be done in the Comsol environment. In order to facilitate design and simulation, it is possible to establish a live link with the following software:

MATLAB, Excel, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Revit, CATIA and Inventor

During the installation of the software, if the mentioned software is available, the plug-ins are automatically loaded in the destination software. The working environment (Desktop) of COMSOL software is integrated, which makes it easy to carry out simulations between disciplines. Add-on modules to the software also maintain this integrity and the way you interact with the software does not change in any way even in the presence of these modules.

Using this software, you can easily develop models of one type of physics with high reliability in the environment and platforms with multiple physics so that several phenomena can be considered simultaneously in solving the problem.

In COMSOL Multiphysics, you will be able to introduce your own equations that can include material properties, boundaries, sink and source terms, or a pair of partial differential equations (PEDs).
